I think everyone is underestimated at some point in life. Whether it was in sports growing up, on a test, in a relationship, in the workforce, by your family… you name it, it has probably happened…
It has happened to me quite a bit, which is why I can only imagine that it happens to everyone else.
It sucks, it is hurtful and it can really be a hard blow to your confidence. I know this all too well.
That is why I have always subscribed to the attitude of:
Go ahead and say that I can’t do this, or will never do that. Go ahead and tell me I am not good enough because when I am finished, I am certain you will feel differently.
They say successful people are told no, or turned down a MILLION times before they are actually successful. They learn to turn those hard dismal’s into motivation, to help them keep going and I think that is a lesson we all need to learn.
Life isn’t going to be easy and even successful people are told no and things don’t workout even after they have become successful. Its part of life. That is why at a young age you have to learn how to turn that negative noise people give you into motivation.
So that is my thought of the day.. don’t give up on what you want or where you want to be just because people don’t believe you can do it.
YOU CAN and if you want to, YOU WILL. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but if you are up for it, you can prove them wrong and believe me, it feels good!
